Although social media have done us many good, many people have also failed to realized that some bad came with them. Hence, they appear to be naive when it comes to issues that have to do with cyber security.
I want to ask how much of your personal information do you reveal to the world and how much do you keep to yourself? If almost everything is your answer, then i pray that your fate will not end up like that of this Floridan woman that posted a video narrating how she could not afford $99 initially to start a business, but now makes multi six figures in dollars.
The story i read has it that some hours after posting the video on Facebook, she was visited by a masked gunman at 2:00am on Saturday July 1, 2017. That was the end of her testimony! She is no longer here to enjoy her six figures revenue, neither is she here to tell us about her future achievements. So sad!!!
Please do yourself a favour and filter the information you make available on social media...keep the rest in your diary. That way, you will live long enough to tell the world more stories. Peace!
